The Board of Deacons is the governing body of The Department of Worship and is organized to assist the Pastor in meeting the spiritual needs of the church.  

Deacons perform the following duties: serve communion, offer corporate prayer during worship services, minister to the Members at times of need, sickness and death, prepare candidates for baptism, the orientation of new Members, and oversee 24 biblical Houses of Hope.
